The International Authentication Association is the industry body for suppliers and users of authentication technologies, systems and services. It aims are twofold: first, to educate and promote the use of authentication systems, technologies and products as an integral part of effective strategies to protect products, documents and their users from counterfeiting and fraud; and second, to protect and promote the interests of the authentication industry (both users and suppliers) worldwide. IAA FORMATIONAuthentication technologies play a vital role in the protection strategies for products and documents worldwide. Yet the role and value of authentication in anti-counterfeiting is typically not examined nor well enough understood, largely because there is no body promoting authentication. The authentication industry comprises hundreds of companies across North America, Europe, Asia and South America, but at strategic discussions on anti-counterfeiting policy at the national and international level in the public and corporate sectors the industry is often left out, largely because this industry does not have a collective voice. This has now changed with the formation of the IAA!The International Authentication Association (IAA) was launched in January 2007. Become a member now to join the leading authentication companies that have decided to set up this organization. |
